SYNOPSIS

A fantasy dimension inside. A colourful cage of animal friends and harmonic shapes. Bianca Animalità is a short film that explores the quest for a voice in the world. Feeling threatened by possible judgements for having an abortion, for seven years Bianca never told anyone about it amongst family and friends. A dimension of fantastic animals, noises, colours and shapes was the result of such repression of feelings. how can this fantastic dimension find its way to the outside? This film is an experimental way of facilitating the affirmation of a self through the emancipation of fearless noises, movements, pigments and thoughts that would break the chains of taboos. Collaborating in this anthropological project Pietro and Bianca try to represent the world inside Bianca to finally communicate with her loved ones.
