USINE BAUG

USINE BAUG is a collaborative theatre project that brings together different personalities from various theatrical backgrounds (acrobatics, music, art comedy, prose theatre, Lecoq pedagogy and methodology).
Ermanno Pingitore, Claudia Russo, Stefano Rocco and Emanuele Cavalcanti are the members of this Milan based sparkling collective that conveys creative energy, irony and intellectual struggles into original theatrical creations that often challenge with a critical approach Italian history and political structures.

The history of the largest steelworks in Europe is intertwined with the legend of this small team born right under the Ilva chimneys, to give voice to the many stories experienced in Taranto. Stories of the struggle between health and work, between hope and disillusionment, between dream and reality. Through the sporting metaphor, the poetry of the images and the truth of the testimonies, ILVA FOOTBALL CLUB tells the story of an expendable city, which today is Taranto but tomorrow could be another city, showing us how much what happens concerns us much more than we imagine...

TOPI


For those who were there and for those who were not, inside and outside the theater, in the square of our memory, TOPI interweaves historical reconstruction and scenic invention to tell, twenty years later, the G8 in Genoa: one of the wounds most serious in recent Italian history. Through the play of metaphors, sound reconstructions, real testimonies and invented characters, TOPI offers a variety of different perspectives to try to make sense, not only of what happened in those days in July, but also of what continues to happen...
